Viang Luang is an immaculate gem in the Old City of Chiang Mai, perfect for a staycation. The hotel boasts beautiful details, from the artistic decor to the well-maintained pool. While the breakfast service was commendable, some facilities like the bathtub hot water and noise levels by the pool could use improvement. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both locals and travelers looking for a tranquil getaway.
I had a wonderful experience at the resort; it's a beautiful, clean, and modern place. The location is perfect, right across from Wat Changdi Lung, making it easy to get around. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. However, the shower temperature was a bit inconsistent, which detracted from an otherwise excellent stay. Additionally, the breakfast options could use some improvement, but overall, it's great value for money.
I had a mostly pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, making my experience enjoyable? although the noise from the pool area was annoying at times. The amenities were sufficient, but I was disappointed with the erratic hot water in the shower and the stale muffins at breakfast. Overall, it's a nice place, but I wish the prices were a bit more reasonable and some issues were resolved.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, with a good-sized room and a comfy bed. I enjoyed the nice amenities and the close proximity to the city center for dining and exploring. However, the noise from the pool area was quite disruptive, and I was disappointed that the bathtub had no hot water. Overall, it's a great choice, albeit a bit pricey.
This hotel really shines with its amazing location, allowing us to explore the old city and visit beautiful monasteries. The pool area is lovely and peaceful, making it a great spot to unwind. However, while the rooms are nice and comfortable, I did encounter some noise from other guests by the pool, which was a bit distracting. Also, the shower had hot water, but the bathtub didn't, which was disappointing after a long day of walking.
